Biography

The Diva anti-diva NeoTropicalista lives in Fortaleza, Ceará (Brazil’s Northeast). One of the more acclaimed artists nationally for her authorial work. So much by universality of the themes of her letters, how much by the odd sonority found in her records. At Karine Alexandrino’s work, the musics act like a soundtrack for imaginary film of his character Producta; character that Karine uses to do her records, shows, videos and performances.

Historical: Karine Alexandrino launched “Solteira Producta”, her first record, in 2002. The album had excellent acceptance by the public and critical in all the country.
