About This Track

“Stronger” is the second single from Kanye West’s album Graduation. The single was first released digitally on July 31, 2007. Stronger features a prominent sample from the song Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger by the French house music duo Daft Punk, who received songwriter credit and had their costumes appear in the music video. According to the Stronger Songfacts, the duo from Daft Punk cooperated with Kanye West in allowing him to place his rapped lyrics over their electronic pop rhythm and were delighted when they heard the final version.

The song won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance at the 50th Grammy Awards.

    I used to hate Kanye but then I grew up and started to listen to his tracks and now this song is my favorite! It also helps that he sampled Daft Punk. Kanye's got taste he's one of the few current Rap Artists I can tolerate.
