Kammerkoret Aurum (Aurum Chamber Choir) rose from a small group of students at Norway University of Science and Technology in Trondheim in 2006, and quickly earned themselves a reputation as a very skilled classical choir in the city, despite the young average age of the 16 members (approx. 22 years).

They have performed in Norway’s main church Nidarosdomen several times, and gives live performances and concerts there and in other local churches three to four times each semester.

Their trademark repertoire ranges from the baroque tradition to all new songs, even some composed by members of the choir. The choir’s ability to express delicate harmonies is taken full advantage of in the repertoire selection, which includes the work of Antonio Lotti, Anton Bruckner, Maurice Duruflé and John Tavener.
