For The Revolution is the fifth full-length studio album by the Finnish melodic death metal band Kalmah. The album reached #17 on the Finnish national album chart. The cover artwork was designed by Vesa Ranta, a Finnish drummer who was one of the original members of the band Sentenced.

    i dont get it either, this cd is fantastic. one of kalmah's best. its my third favorite after swamplord and 12 gauge.

    It's weird this album gets so much criticism... this album was the first CD I got from them and REALLY amazing... now I just need to get all the other CDs as well >_<

    Doesn't look as great next to Black Waltz and starts out pretty badly, but once the album gains a little momentum it gets to be pretty excellent. Definite highlights would be Ready for Salvation and Outremer.

    People who say this is boring really don't have a clue. I think every album Kalmah have ever produced has been top notch and I'm not afraid to say that they're one of the most consistent bands ever. To be honest, I'd even say 'Outremer' is one of the best songs Kalmah have ever created.
