About this album

Universal Music Ltd. (2008) Released: 20 Oct 2008 15 tracks (51:09)
Already an established live favourite, ‘Never Miss a Beat’ is the first track to be lifted off the band’s third album ‘Off With Their Heads’ and sees a band emerging from the obvious ‘pop’ sensibility of their catalogue, ‘Never Miss A Beat’ enters the fray under a barrage of guitar squall backed with a keyboard led refrain coupled with a sound that veers away from previous outings…it’s a record of intent!

Having decided that they were going to release and EP in the autumn of this year, Kaiser Chiefs retired to the rehearsal room, only to emerge weeks later with a batch of songs they had chosen to record. It was only once they had started to record the tracks that they then realised that perhaps it maybe an idea to scupper the EP and do an album’s worth instead…

When it came out, I wasn't pleased that much. But over time, I realised it's a big grower <3

Good Days Bad Days is a shockingly bad song. But to be honest, I quite like the rest of it, especially Spanish Metal.

An utter disaster. The proof the Kaiser Chiefs run out of creativity a long time ago. The only good song is Spanish Metal. "Good Days Bad Days" is embarrassing and "Never Miss A Beat" is plain stupid. The rest is just boring as f***.
