Ukázalo se to jako skvělá volba - zválště písně jako If Only, Funnyman a I Don't Want You Now jsou opravdu super. Den se sešel se dnem a nevím co to moji Hanku napadlo, ale dokoupila mi k narozeninám její předchozí dvě alba - Eye to the Telescope a Acoustic Extravaganza, takže mám Kate momentálně kompletní ;-). Ze starších písní jsou pak dobré Ashes a Suddenly I See a v neposlední řadě píseň se kterou se tak trochu proslavila - Black Horse and the Cherry Tree

3 Jan 2008, 18:58 by Joy_of_lifeNo, I'm not gonna do another "the best of the 2007". I just wanted to write about what was 2007 in music for me. And I must say it was a rather rich year. I got to know many new bands, many new styles. I've ended up listening to the bands I've been trying not to :P Some of them even became my favs... or at least close to favs...
on the other hand, some of my old time favs have failed me dramatically (yes, I'm talking about you Miss Andrea Corr). but it was a good year... musically speaking. I'll try to mention all the things that count... probably in alphabetical order :P
1. Beirut - got this one from my friend Servantez and it turned out to be pretty good. Especially the latest release. I've always liked folk inspirations (figures) and this time the Balkan ones made quite an impression.
2. Bloc Party - got to know the guys and loved them ever since I heard The Prayer. The latest album was a very well thought step and I'm glad they took it.

20 Sep 2007, 13:37 by sabberwormI got a lot of new albums* recently but I don't really have the time to do full reviews of them, so read them here in short.
Evelinn Trouble – Arbitrary Act
"Wow!", that's all there is to say… I got this album recommended by my local music retailer. If you like strong voices, atmospheric sound or are a fan of music in general, this album is for you!
Recommended Track: not important
KT Tunstall – Drastic Fantastic
I listened to this album a lot in the last two weeks but never really closely. I think I got the just of it, though and must say: unfortunately not as diverse, not as catchy and not as powerful as the first album.
Recommended Track: Funnyman
Annett Louisan – Das optimale Leben
