kHz is a band that tries harder to be themselves than fit into any mold. Creating everything on their own from albums, videos, artwork and web sites, their unique and honest DIY approach began to turn some heads and people took notice. Some highlights include spending 14 weeks in the top 20 most requested song charts on SIRIUS radio’s “OCTANE”, winning an award for the best indie American Latino band from AIM TV, their music being featured in films like “Return of the Living Dead” and “Drive-thru” and being a featured band on Dave Navarro’s radio and TV shows “Spread Entertainment,” to name a few.

The rock press praised them: “Darkly atmospheric with boulder-heavy riffs-this band could get bela lugosi moshing - Revolver Magazine”.

Heavy Metals most recognized Female VJS, Mistress Juliya, recently hosted several kHz shows which they headlined, and on the Internet’s sensation Myspace, the Metal Mistress herself,Sanaz, features the band on her personal profile and regards herself as a fan.

I know this band since a long long time, and they're just awesome ! Their music is really original, with a lot of experimentations, and Raiana's voice is amazing. Reality on the finer scale is for me their best album and Envy their best song ! KHZ is one of my favorite band. I've got Emotronic ( first version of 2000 ) and Cryogenic sleep, I'm looking for Disconnected ( but my priority is all of their old ablums, very hard to find it now ). VIVA KHZ.
