***KB Da Kidnappa was born in Galveston, Texas and raised in the hot north Houston streets of Trinity Garden. He was 13 when he joined Houston’s infamous gangsta rap group Street Military in 1993, whose self-released albums over the years were slowed and splattered on over a dozen of DJ Screw’s original tapes. With Street Military on hiatus, this 30-minute 12-inch is a sampler of his debut solo album, with a couple of exclusives. KB opened for UGK at SXSW with his albino python wearing more bling than himself, and he was recently documented on Vice TV’s internet-video-thingy about the history of Houston rap.
