(Got his name “Juvazzi” from a civilian he met in Italy by pronouncing his name wrong.)

Jamaican dancehall Artist Juvanne ‘Juvazzi’ Miller was born on March 5 1989, in Portland, Jamaica. At a very young age, Juvanne “Juvazzi” Miller moved to the Ghetto streets of Barbican, Kingston from the country side with his aunt. Juvazzi spent most of his time in school trying to stay focused and keep on the right track. Juvazzi claims he had a very troubled childhood and was surrounded by violence calling where he grew up “Shanty Town”.

At an age of 11, Juvazzi started writing his own music, And would preform it consistently during school talent shows and events. This generated a crowd to him and at this early age he made fans within his local community. Knowing his talent Juvazzi thought it was just a pipe dream for him to make it big like such artists as Buju Banton, Beenie Man, and Sizzla. As a child Juvazzi had dreams of being apart of the medical field by becoming a doctor. He quickly overcome that dream when he receive a walkman (“stepmusic” as he called it) from a family friend for his birthday.

In high school Juvazzi started to develop a love for his music and wanted to make a name for himself. But like any Jamaican youth growing up around gangs and violence, its easy to be drawn into that crowd, especially if you were a child like Juvanne. Juvazzi has lost many friends to drugs and violent death.
