Thanks for the advice, afterall I'm self taught and have only been playing for a couple of years so any advice is helpful. :)

Recording: I would suggest recording it through a cable instead of from a mic because your picking and strumming is very hear'able and it almost goes over the distortion when you go crazy at it in some parts. Playability: You need to practice a bit more. Your picking is very loose (should be a bit more straight forward and stiff for fast playing), your two hands aren't in sync and shouldn't be going out of tempo. Concentrate more on your technique. Tone: Use a bit less distortion for clearer and crisper fast picking. Consult someone in a music store on a overdrive pedal because the distortion is.. ok. If that doesn't help, you might want to consider a Marshall amp and/or Active Pickups. Music: Try expanding your playing a bit beyond just a lot of power chords and one or two patterns of a scale. Final thoughts: Really try to get your hands in sync and improve your technique because without that, you will won't be able to evolve to playing more difficult pieces. Good effort overall
