Biography

Justin Green (1988 - 2011) was an acoustic fingerstyle guitarist from Pictou, Nova Scotia, Canada. He is primarily influenced by Delta Blues, Folk and Country music.
He began playing guitar at the age of fifteen. After learning a few chords from his father, he then taught himself how to read guitar tablature, learning an assortment of songs by bands such as Nirvana and Metallica. At the age of twenty one, his music interests changed drastically, becoming heavily influenced by musicians such as John Fahey, Charley Patton and many other Folk/Blues artists.
