Born on January 15, 1983 and hailing from Rahway, New Jersey, multi-instrumentalist Justin Beck moved with his parents to northern Arkansas at the age of five, and during his late teens, he began playing music in various garage bands and projects in the area.

Greatly influenced by artists like The Beatles, Wilco, and Elliott Smith, Justin later began recording acoustic covers of his favorite tunes, as well as founding an Indie/Lo-Fi project, Merica, alongside long-time friend and musician Anthony Racianello.

During the winter of 2005 through the summer of 2006, Justin recorded his only known solo album, “Some Songs and Stuff,” which was discovered by younger brother Zach Beck in the crawl-space of the basement of his home. (Coincidentally, Zach Beck and younger brother Dylan Beck are currently members of the Indie Rock/Lo-Fi band Heidi Klum’s Bangs, a project that has been compared to the likes of Sufjan Stevens and Neutral Milk Hotel; their music can be found, played, downloaded, or purchased on their band’s website, or, and donations are greatly appreciated.)

Today, Justin Beck continues to create and record music, most of which he has not yet been released to the public, or at least few people. He currently resides in Blytheville, Arkansas.
