Sitting on the doorstep of the house I can't afford
I can feel you there
Thinking of a reason, well, it's really not very hard
To love you even though you nearly lost my heart

" Hey Jude, don't make it bad. Take a sad song and make it better..." - and he did just THAT! Great song (and I love the idea, that Paul knew all that then).

I remember exactly where I was the first time I heard this, I thought they'd found a lost John Lennon track; it floored me when DJ said it was his son Julian. Gave me goosebumps. Julian's gotten a raw deal throughout his life, but I'm glad he's still with us.

Love this! I saw him live in concert 20 years ago when I was 16. This is probably one of my very favorite songs of his-makes me think of my father whom passed in 2003-in my mind-this is my song for my dad. Thanks guys!.

An Excellent Song. Carlton Morales helped write it. Carlton also played prior with Kevan Tynes in The Mighty Majors and Betty Davis' Funkhouse band. Carlton also was Joe Cocker's roommate, and also played with Natalie Cole and as a sit- in guitarist for The Gap Band prior to Julian Lennon's group.
