Leperskin (5:11)

Cover of Peggy Suicide

From Peggy Suicide

“Leperskin is for all of the Lepers of Lambeth - Polltax Value £521. As you cross Clapham Common, you pass a sign saying that you’re leaving “Lambeth - A Nuclear Free Zone” followed by another sign proclaiming, “Wandsworth - The Brighter Borough”. Ho-Hum…

N.B. This song was recorded in Autumn 1990. Since that time, Margaret Thatcher has done her fare-thee-well in a fairly big ass way.”

- Julian Cope

I've not seen Julian in far too long, this song always makes me miss him. Even at his worst he's worth seeing live

why is there only 4 shouts for this guy...Cope was a very very underattttttted artist & should be acknowledged more from the so called "know it alls" in the music business.....some strokes of musical genius on this album.
