Their first breakthrough for a larger audience came in 1998, when they were asked to play at the legendary Eskimo parties. After proving that they could easily rock bigger crowds, bookings followed for the D&B room at various raves and festivals. Meanwhile they also became residents at the Decadance club (nowadays, this is know as the Steam sessions on Wednesdays).
In the year 2000 one of the guys took over Fried Chicken Records, a store specialising in drum & bass releases. The shop became an important meeting place for the up-and-coming talents and the established deejays in the scene. However, it turned out to be all but profitable, so in 2004 it was time to move on. Meanwhile Nico JB started working as a promoter for Democrazy and was able to take the party concept Mystic to a higher level, together with another DJ team from Ghent: Dobe ‘n’ Daze.
