The entire album is an experience, but going from "Twenty Four Hours" through to "Decades" is an emotional experience.

I'm sorry, but this album totally rapes Unknown Pleasures (which is great). Decades is one of the best songs in the whole goddamn universe.

Closer is Such a stunning album. Watched a great doc on Joy Division recently, on bbc4, it was very moving.

Im liking this more than "UP". Its fantastic. My girlfriend tried to get me into them with unknown pleasures but it didn't strike my fancy.

Both albums are brilliant but for somewhat different reasons. They're both among the absolute best rock ever made, but I favour this one slightly more.

Stephen Morris = boss. [2] One of my favourite drummers ever.

The best thing with Joy Division's name on it, without a doubt.

Very dark album, very uneasy to hear but twenty four hours is one of their best songs

What's the point of comparing them? They had both something special, and these comparisons are useless as constructive criticism, knowing the band died like thirty years ago.

It's good, but it's definitely no Unknown Pleasures.

This is so intense, so emotional, too much feelings in one album. Outstanding. 9,7/10
