1. Hot Lunch
4. Jam Donut
Label co-founder Lee Waxman once again goes all chameleon on us, jumping from jazz funk tinged house to mid nineties drum n' bass, via a dollop of acid house and a drizzle of deepness.
Track one, "Hot Lunch", is a smooth playboy of a track, with Hammond organs and pianos sitting neatly atop a blissed out groove, perfect warm up gear here. "Free" meanwhile is a new direction for Lee, honing his production techniques by trying a new style for him, in the form of some intelligent drum n bass. Label partner Mitch was so impressed with this track that it was swiftly included on this release.
Eastern tribal percussion hooks us in with the third track, "Litmus", along with a mesmerizing sub bassline and some good old fashioned 303 acid. "Jam Donut" sees Lee return to more familiar territory, with a very sophisticated, lush, and downtempo excursion into deep house.
