Jonny Maudling is the composer, keyboard player and former drummer for the band Bal-Sagoth and the keyboard player for the band Kull. He also played keyboards on three My Dying Bride studio albums. Currently, Jonny is a producer and an engineer, operating his own recording studio called Waylands Forge Studios in Yorkshire, England.

He came from a musical family and was classically trained from a young age. Jonny has also produced some compositions apart from Bal-Sagoth, such as his interpretation of the theme of the American action series “Street Hawk”, and his musical contributions to the video game Adellion.

Jonny Maudling also played keyboards on the My Dying Bride albums “The Light at the End of the World”, “The Dreadful Hours”, “Evinta”, and on the Semargl album “Ordo Bellictum Satanas”.

Jonny Maudling’s live equipment over the years has been various and includes Rolands Fantom X7, and XP50 , Korg M1 and various other midi devices and synths.
