Biography

Jonna Lee is an artist, songwriter and producer from Sweden.

She has released two low key albums in her own name between the years 2007-2009 on the Swedish indie label Razzia records that she left after releasing her second album.

Jonna Lee has not made a statement in the press since late 2009 so this has however not been officially confirmed. The latest interview with Jonna Lee was in 2009, made by Spinner.com before SXSW 2010. She has not played a show or made a public appearance since.

    Having first listended to iamamiwhoami, I had expected this to be quite similar, but wow, totally awesome even though it's so different. The hidden track "Bonus" from 10 Pieces, 10 Bruises is an instant favourite.

    Technically speaking, iamamiwhoami is still her solo career... Claes has always been there with her from the start even when she was doing music as Jonna Lee. iamamiwhoami is still Jonna with Claes, writing and producing. Only this time, she works with collaborators for the visual side of iamamiwhoami. It's an amazing change, truly remarkable and amazing. I love both sides of her, but I must admit I prefer her old music. The mystery can get tiring when all I really like is the woman behind it all.

    I'm completely in love with Jonna's solo carrer, and I don't say that only because she's the woman behind iamamiwhoami and iam is amazing; I say it because her solo work is as fascinating as iamamiwhoami. OBVIOUSLY in a completely different way, but, yet, amazing, lovely, relaxing, captivating. Jonna is a queen, indeed.
