I'm a honky tonk man and I can't seem to stop
I love to give the girls a whirl to the music of an old jukebox
But when my money's all gone, I'm on the telephone
Callin' hey, hey, mama can your daddy come home?

I love this tune by anyone ... Ain't nothing better than a honky-tonk song in Texas, especially when you're in one and the juke box is blaring and the wimmens is dancin' and the beers is a-flowin' and your prostate is working okay .... But, never eat cheese before you go honky-tonkin' .....

I liked Johnny Horton when I was a kid, I still do all these years later. Good music is just plain good music.

Lots of connections with Johnny and Hank Williams. Just a couple, both died in an automobile, and both were married to the same woman when they died. I'm a big Johnny Horton fan and I like Hank also.
