  • love his stuff..even though i am not aussie i really enjoy his his songs.
  • Bullshit persona from Williamson that seems to get dragged out every time there is something going on in Australia.
  • Grew up on this as well. Brilliant song writer.
  • Man i grew up on his stuff - mum plays Joan Baez and John Williamson on guitar :D - love Flag of Our Own, Rip Rip Woodchip, Galleries of Pink Galahs, Old Man Emu, Raining on the Rock. Made mum cry by singing Cootamundra Wattle - her fave - at a choir performance..... awesome songs!! love it!
  • The Golden Kangeroo
  • Sir Don gets the heart (not to mention the tearducts) going every time for me. Same with A Number On My Back, The Baggy Green, and even Sydney 2000 sometimes. If aliens were to land in Australia and we wanted to explain true blue Aussies to them, we'd throw on John Williamson albums IMHO.
  • i love that guy, he is my mate ^^
  • I'm fair dinkum - bloody oath I am!
  • Met him briefly backstage at the Urban Country Music festival, very nice man. =] Amazing live.
