    I get a warm fuzzy feeling all over when I introduce people to new types of music. That fuzzy feeling tends to turn into a sort of glow when I hear that they really enjoy the music. And I know people that feel the same way. Or, at least, I think I do.

    Two days ago, I got the entire collection of Ça Ira from my friend. It's a great album, and I'm glad I got the chance to actually listen through it. He also sent me the entire collection of Les Misérables today, so I'll be listening to that tomorrow. Or something. And to think, he didn't think I liked Opera. Pfft...

    Likewise, today I educated him in the field of Prog Rock. It was sort of a way to repay him for sharing the music he did with me. There was quite a lot I showed him; he had never heard any Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, so I introduced him to them. Likewise, he had never heard any Yes before, so I had to introduce him to them as well.

    In fact, the only real Prog Rock experience he had was a deep deep love for Pink Floyd. …
