About this album

Recorded in 1996, this was Howard’s first album for over 20 years. Featuring Howard originals as well as his interpretations of other writers’ material (e.g. k.d. lang’s Barefoot; Neil Young’s Birds, The Beach Boys Don’t Talk), shortly before the album was set for release the label he recorded it for folded.
Three tracks from the album saw a release in 2007 on the E.P. Walk On The Wild Side and in 2008, the whole album finally got its release. That year, Uncut magazine featured the album’s ‘Something’ on their George Harrison Tribute CD, as a result it is now one Howard’s most listened to tracks on Last FM.
