Internationally renowned jazz guitarist John Stein was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri USA where he took up his instrument at an early age. His talent for and love of music ultimately brought him to a position on the faculty at Berklee College of Music. There he continues to inspire new musicians and to perfect his own style.
Pacific Northwest based acoustic guitarist Eric Skye occupies a unique position by clearly being in the classic jazz guitar soloist camp, while offering the intimate uncluttered solo acoustic resonance of the contemporary steelstring guitar and it’s associated approaches.
Sheryl Bailey is an American jazz guitarist and composer. Her sensibilities grow out of the bebop tradition, but her style is modern and fresh. She currently lives in New York City and teaches at Berklee College of Music.
Harold "Hal" Galper is a jazz pianist born in Salem, Massachusetts on April 18, 1938. He studied classical piano as a boy, but switched to jazz which he studied at the Berklee College of Music from 1955 to 1958.
