This piece, and the others fr. this album are seriously mistagged. These aren't "rock instrumentals." On this early 70's album, Cale is re-examining his classical roots and training. Some pieces are scored for orchestra, others are piano solos. Some are tongue-in-cheek, others more serious. But they all have to do with how a rock artist who came out of the classical milieu can re-imagine it from outside the the academic world of contemporary classical music. The result may be uneven (a matter for personal judgment), but I don't see how this can be accurately described as a "rock" album. It is deliberately not that.
