Biography

Joel Plaskett is a Canadian rock musician who has been a longtime favourite on campus radio charts throughout the country. Since 2001, he has led Joel Plaskett Emergency. Prior to that he was a member of the Halifax-based alternative rock band Thrush Hermit from its founding in 1992 until its breakup in late 1999. Plaskett was the lead singer, guitarist and the band’s primary songwriter.
