I don’t know... this album is like an awakening. For your senses. It’s hard to describe – you truly have to hear it with your own ears. It’s like walking through a fairy tale village with all those bizarre, eerie, devastatingly beautiful and endlessly evocative mythical images and creatures you see in fantasy movies catching you off guard...
The combination of her quirky voice and her fragile harp is somehow otherworldly. Critics would call this record a freak-folk masterpiece. I suppose it is. Makes me wonder how it would sound if Jewel did something like this. Eh... too artsy for her, I guess.
