Joanna was born in Jos, Nigeria on the 9th of April 1972. After studies in Mass Communiation and Linguistics in Nigeria, and also establishing herself as a performing as a regular feature in Nigeria’s 5 star hotels and other prestigious venues and events in ’s capital city, Abuja.
While attending the Conservatoire Nationale de Musique in Perpignan, France and after two years of studies in technique, she started work as a choir director with the Casa Musicale.
She also recently studied music production at Richmond, in the greater area.
Joanna remains true to the rythmn of her origins. Joanna now lives in the south of and continues to fully follow her - .
