Jitset (real name, Adam Boshor) is 20 years old and is responsible for what has been described as ‘some of the filthiest remixes of 2006’.

Jitset currently lives in East London with the members of the now-disbanded Test-Icicles, who he freely admits he owes big time for his first break - a chance meeting with Statik and Lethal Bizzle, who were working with the band at the time.

Jitset’s Cat Shit remix of Catch It ripped apart the original and replaced it with a mesmerizing, minimal grimy beat, over which Ruff Sqwad and Statik laid down bars (recorded in his house), alongside the original vocals. It doesn’t easily fall into any particular genre.

Although it’s tempting to connect Jitset to the ‘grindie’ hype, he says his influences are far broader, including early Daft Punk, noisy guitars, Dirty South and . He says he’s always interested in trying out new styles and working with different producers and vocalists, so keeps a very open mind. When he’s trying to think what to do with a track, the usual answer he comes up with is, “throw some ridiculous bass on it!”

Having recently remixed the likes of Ladytron and David Banner, Jitset now gearing up for the release of his debut single, Hold On, which is due out on Ekleroshock soon. The future also holds work with hot ‘’ artist, Patrick Wolf.
