Jimmy Reed.... Use to play college dances up the road a piece. Personally responsible for a small population explosion back then.

I don't care who whispered the words into his ears or how tall he was...all I know this sound they make it's just GREAT!

What a legacy the man left though, unfortunately that is one of two things we can't stop, getting old ! Great story, reminds me when I saw Bo Diddley in N London , sitting on a stool and having plenty of help but to see the man and sounding good, memories, great stuff.

Saw him at the Starlight Ballroom on Jacksboro Hwy. It was New Years Eve in 1964 or 65. He was higher than a kite...could barely stay up on his stool. His wife or girlfriend stood beside him and appeared to be singing the words in his ear and he repeated them. Still..it was a good show.
