Something random: Taylor Swift has some of the lyrics from "Mixtape" written in Sharpie on her arm in her new video "Sparks Fly".

It's too late, you can't walk away, walk away, now...[2]

If this album doesn't have a Futures vibe going on up 'til this point (and it does), it sure does by the time this song plays.

This song is almost as good a closer as Goodbye Sky Harbour... but not by much. I still love the lyric "I am but one small instrument". I use that line a lot, and barely anyone gets it.

i find this song pretty uninteresting, but the rest of the album mostly great. if only they had cut this and made 'invented' the closer..

they are definitely attempting to channel a little goodbye sky harbor here. i'd say they kind of succeeded. one of my favs on the album i think

@La_iLuminada beginning to write slower tracks? one word for you: Clarity. moving on, this track is amazing. true to form, jimmy always closes their albums out with a bang

their older songs are better, i think! they just sounded more tough in former times. seems like JEW is growing older, and beginning to write slower tracks...

@CollectToNYC I agree about the substance in the chorus comment. Seems like it needs something more. It's still a pretty awesome song though. Love it.

the last two songs are really good, don't know about the rest of the album though...

very good song, but doesn't really have the pull of the other classic JEW closers (though I think Invented does, and should have been put at the end instead) i dunno what it is. maybe there's not enough substance in the chorus

Very Clarity-like; can't wait to hear the album and acoustic versions!
