Bleed American was released in July 2001, however shortly after its release it was re-titled as a self-titled album so as to avoid controversy surrounding the events of 9/11. The original title of Bleed American was restored in 2008 with the release of the deluxe edition of the album.

    I always loved how they managed a heavier sound, with some pretty heavy riffs for the JEW standards. (Thinking of Bleed American, Sweetness, Get It Faster). My favourite album by them, definitely.
