James Richard Steinman (born November 1, 1948 in New York City, New York) (more commonly known as Jim Steinman) is an American rock and musical theater composer. He is notable for having written most of Meat Loaf's hit songs, in addition to hits for many other musical artists.   • I like both versions. Don't see much reason to compare them since they're pretty different. The thing that's fun about Kogures covers is hearing him singing girls rock hits in japenese. His cover of Cherry Bomb by the Runaways is also quite brilliant. :)
  • Yeah, Rory has a great voice, he's awesome in Surf's Up too, and in Total Eclipse of the Heart. Rory Dodd and Holly Sherwood are the best singers Steinman has ever worked with. And the the Demon Kogure cover can't even compare with the Holly Sherwood original. Though it's fun to hear Steinman's music in Japanese.
