You'll hear me calling in your sweet dream
Can't hear your daddy's warning cry
You're going back to be all the things you want to be
While in sweet dreams you softly sigh

Henry Jethro William Tull (30 March 1674 – 21 February 1741), known as Jethro Tull, was an English agricultural pioneer from Berkshire who helped bring about the British Agricultural Revolution. He perfected a horse-drawn seed drill in 1701 that economically sowed the seeds in neat rows, and later a horse-drawn hoe. Tull's methods were adopted by many large landowners, and they helped form the basis of modern agriculture. Just in case y'all were unfamiliar.

I love all of his music and have almost every release of the band. Having said that, I am not particularly fond of this version of Sweet Dream that I am hearing. Might be because I have heard so much better on bootleg recordings

When I was little, for some reason now lost to time, I connected this song with punk rock. The images it gave my mind when I was younger were more "punk" then anything else. In fact, I used to imagine Ian Anderson had a pink mohawk, before I ever saw an image of him. xD

Ian A nderson, really has a very distinctive voice........Sweet Dream really worked... Although it is very different from their usual material....I think it was a composition that really paid dividends, so to speak.... So very catchy... The pace certainly changes...... Sounds quite regal too......"Get out and get what you can"Your mine.....etc etc etc ......!!!!
