Please help me with a new project to put out an EP. By pre-ordering the EP, you can help me make it! Donate more or less as you like. There are also some fan exclusives for various donation levels. 10% of album proceeds go to support RAINN.

From my Pledge Music site:
I am launching this project to raise funds for a new full band EP and I would like to donate 10% of the profits to RAINN, the nation’s largest anti-sexual assault organization. (RAINN: Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network) http://www.rainn.org/.

Last year I released a CD that I recorded at home. This was a first step that helped me learn how to arrange my songs. I have also spent the last year playing with a band. This collaborative experience has helped me improve tremendously as a musician.

My next goal is to record an EP that represents the energy and instrumentation of a live performance, with the benefit of a producer to help guide me.

Thank you so much to those who have already contributed and to those of you who will after reading this.

PRESS

“Robertson expertly mixes an alt-country vocal style with electronic drumbeats, possessing a voice that commands attention from the first note. Her tone is captivating whether floating in a whispered reverie or letting loose over unconventional lyrics and acrobatic melodies.”
Beth Walker, Performing Songwriter Magazine (December, 2008)

“Imagine a withering roar that’s all at once strong, vulnerable, and beautiful. Jessi is a unique power-pop artist that delivers poetic insightful lyrics in catchy songs full of drama and life.”
