Jerry Only (born Gerald Caiafa on April 21 1959 in Lodi, New Jersey) is the bassist and current vocalist for the horror punk band, The Misfits. He is generally regarded as one of the band’s founding members, although Diane DiPiazza had played bass for a few practice sessions prior to Jerry joining the band. He invented the infamous hair style, the . As well as playing with The Misfits, he also played bass in Kryst the Conqueror, and Osaka Popstar.

As of 2005, his band is touring Europe in The Misfits’ 25th anniversary tour. He is the only member of the band to play on every Misfits release.

He plays a custom “Devastator” Bass made out of graphite. It has no tone or volume control knobs due to the fact that he only plays it on full blast. This would go on for several years until the band split due to differences between lead singer Glenn Danzig and the rest of the band. During this downtime, Jerry and his brother Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein (the guitarist for The Misfits) formed Kryst The Conqueror. Before ressurecting the Misfits he had a a very unsuccessul music career.
