Biography

Jerome “Jerry” Leiber (April 25, 1933 - August 22, 2011) and Mike Stoller (born March 13, 1933) are among the most influential American songwriters and record producers in post-World War II popular music. Songs include “Stand By Me” (with Ben E. King), “Hound Dog”, “Jailhouse Rock”, “Spanish Harlem” (Jerry Leiber and Phil Spector).

    In general ID3 tags report scrobbles under the artist actually performing a work, not the songwriters behind it. So if someone listens to "Jailhouse Rock" for instance, it would count toward "Elvis Presley" rather than Leiber/Stoller. They are certainly represented in abundance on the site, just not under their own profiles since they aren't typically the singers or performers of their own works.

    I wonder what went wrong here, or if there's another Leiber profile. I mean this guy just made a lot of Rockn' Roll music together with his partner Stoller for all the stars like Elvis Presley or Ben E. King. Like Jailhouse Rock or Stand By me. So this Profile should be full of music , thousands of songs
