Jerry Fish and the Mudbug Club, an alternative rock band from Dublin, Ireland. Consists of Gerard Whelan, Martin Murphy, David Frew and Enda Wyatt. The band was formely known as An Emotional Fish, formed in 1988.

The New studio album from ‘Jerry Fish & The Mudbug Club’ entitled: ‘The Beautiful Untrue’ is scheduled to be released in Ireland on April the 24th. And will also be available to download shortly thereafter all over the planet earth. Produced by Jerry Fish, Recorded by Dick Meaney (The Jesus & Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine) and Mixed by Phil Hayes ( The Cake Sale, Bell X1) ‘The Beautiful Untrue’ will be released on Jerry’s record label The Mudbug Club and distributed in Ireland by RMG Chart Entertainment. The album features some extraordinary guest vocal performances from two of Irelands up and coming singers Imelda May and Carol Keogh. … and of course The Wonderful and Ever Expanding Mudbug Club Troupe. Buzz Wilde, Spicy Mudbug, Dr.Nebulus, Q, Conor (Jesus) Brady, Grum, Dave Frew, Mark Healy, Stefano Muscovi, Princess Mischa, Pat (Mr.T) Corless, Serge Stavila, Josie Doherty, Justin Carroll, Joe Ryan, Jack McMahon, The Mighty Stef and Oleg Ponomarev. The first Single to be taken from ‘The Beautiful Untrue’ entitled ‘Back to Before’ will be released to radio in March and available on itunes as a download only single. ‘Back to Before’ is one of two duets on the album featuring singer Carol Keogh. The song has a Parisien Circus feel and sounds like it came from the soundtrack of ‘Amelie’ or ‘City of The Lost Children’.

    Superb band who can normally be seen at the Glastonbury Festival - if you get the chance go and see them, they are amazing!!!
