Jerry Cantrell (born Jerry Fulton Cantrell, March 18, 1966, Tacoma, Washington) is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He is best known for his membership in the heavy metal/grunge band Alice in Chains. Cantrell has also released two solo albums.

His two released solo albums are: “Boggy Depot” (1998) and “Degradation Trip” (2002). Despite the latter being recorded as a double album, it was initially released as a single disc album, but was later re-released as the double-disc “Degradation Trip, Volumes 1 and 2”.
