Accomplished and well-seasoned, Jenny Biddle is one of the most versatile songwriters of her time. With her blistering guitar excursions and heartfelt touch to the piano, the songstress combines her jaw-dropping skills with her fruitful ear for melody, and humble, straight-to-the-core lyrics. Topping it off with her infectious, soulful voice, Jenny offers a vivacious performance that captivates her audience, whether it be beautiful non-nonsense folk, down and dirty blues grooves, rockin’ piano riffs, or an intimate moment of reflection.

Influences range from the quirky fun-loving Waifs, to the anthemic rock of Silverchair, and from Aussie rock legends Cold Chisel to the soothing sound of Missy Higgins, and everything in between. The multi-instrumentalist has drawn comparisons to the likes of Melissa Etheridge, Missy Higgins, and Ani Difranco, giving Jenny an ability to proffer a very broad musical presentation mixing mood and vivacity.

Composing from the age of ten, the Sydney-born composer won numerous school music awards, being honoured at the end of her school-life with performances at several prestigious charity eisteddfods following a HSC top-school result.

Recent years have seen the release of her live album “Almost Live at the Basement” (2008), following the launch of her single “Our Darkest Day” in honour of the victims of the Victorian Bushfires . Supporting Aussie legends Cotton, Keays & Morris at the reputable live music restaurant - Lizottes (Kincumber), and winner of the 2009 Port Fairy Folk Festival Just Guitars: Best Artist Award, Jenny is drawing the attention of many new fans.
