Jelonek is an instrumental rock band with the leading violinist Michał Jelonek.

Artistic achievements of Michał Jelonek:
* 1989 diploma in violin class of Professor Andrzej Zuzanski ended with performance of Ludwig van Beethoven VIOLIN CONCERTO in D major to accompaniment of Kielce Philharmonic Orchestra.
* 1989-1993 cooperation with Symphonic Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra of Kielce Philharmonic and with String Quintet “Collegium Musicum”.
* 1992-1994 cooperation with “Theatre Diaspora”
* 1992-2008 cooperation with bands: “Ankh”, “Closterkeller”, “De Press”, “Firebirds”, “Grejfrut”, “Hunter”, “Kasa”, “Lizar”, “Lzy”, “Mafia”, “Maybe-b”, “Orkiestra Dni Naszych”, “Perfect”, “Szwagierkolaska”, “Teatr Kobiet”, “Tosteer”, “T-Raperzy znad Wisły”, “Wilki” and others.
* Cooperation with artists: Maryla Rodowicz, Ilona Sojda, Wojciech Gąsowski, Stan Borys and others.
* XII 2007 solo album „Jelonek”
Recorded 20 co-author’s albums and featured over 30 albums(classical music, pop, folk, r’n’b, rock and metal).Won several competitions and festivals like: Jarocin 93, Zloty Baczek WOSP and others. Several nominations for best polish instrumentalist (1993 –“Tylko Rock” Magazine, 1994 – Siedlce “Rock 94” and others). Cooperated as a sideman with phonographic companies like: BMG Ariola Poland, EMI Pomaton Poland, Universal Music Poland, and others. 1993-2008: around 1600 concerts throughout Poland and in countries like: Brazil, Czech Republic, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Mexico, Germany, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland and Ukraine. Recorded music for movies and commercials.
Michał Jelonek has a solo career which concentrates mostly on Classical music with Progressive influences. If you like his music then this is the place for you.
