Listening to the album "Live At The Monterey Festival" recorded on June 17, 1967 in the middle of the Summer of love, which I missed thank you very much Uncle Sam. JA at their peak.

Find your way back and Jane SMOKES anything Airplane ever put out. Craig Chaquico additionally SMOKES Jorma. Pick up an instrument and discover the difference. To say this song is anything but filler is absurd.

House At Pooneil Corners...reference to House At Pooh Corner by A A Milne. Winnie the Pooh, a childrens/psychedelic classic like Wind In The Willows. Don't know if this track is a reference to Pooh bear though.

This is when they were awesome!! When they were Jefferson Airplane. Not bad as Jefferson Starship when Marty Balin left and took the Airplane part with him. They tanked in the 80's as Starship too damn bad too.

Two of Jefferson Airplane's finest songs namecheck Pooneil: The Ballad of You And Me And Pooneil from After Bathing at Baxters, and The House At Pooneil Corners from Crown Of Creation. I have heard it said that it is a reference to Fred Neil, the folk singer. Is this correct? Why the Poo? Why two songs about it him/it? And while I'm at it, where was Baxters?

Great San Francisco sound. Jefferson Airplane was so different. Music for freaks made by great musicians.
