Biography
Jeff was born in London and raised in Hertfordshire UK, where he discovered he had an ear for music following a school ‘Tone’ test.
Music lessons were recommended, so he decided to learn the drums!
After a couple of years he developed his own skills by teaching himself guitar, he then developed an interest for keyboards and synths. After a few years of experimentation, he came to the conclusion that the style of music he wrote naturally was in the ‘Chillout’ genre, although his musical tastes and influences include a variety of artists including Pink Floyd … , Genesis, Brian Eno, Marillion, Moby, Boards of Canada, Doves, Faithless, Coldplay, Keane, Jon Hopkins……the list goes on and on!
He has now written and produced eleven albums to date.
Currently Jeff writes TV and Film production music and has over 500 tracks placed with TV production libraries worldwide.
Recent success was the use of a track co-written by Jeff and Jonathan Atkinson in ‘Paris Connections’ a movie adaptation of the Jackie Collins best selling Novel starring Charles Dance and Trudie Styler released in September 2010.
Jeff has recently collaborated with established and respected artists in the music industry including Jonathan Atkinson a well respected and established TV composer, My Electronic Things (MET) an elctronic musical virtuoso, Abhijit Pohankar a well known artist and composer in India and Bryan El a New Age artist from Belgium.
