Jeff Toczynski (vocals, guitar, bass) and John Andrews (guitar, bass, keyboards, drums) met in the summer of 1995 in the suburbs of Los Angeles, California through Jeff’s brother Ron, who John worked with at a local grocery chain. While Jeff had been performing locally portraying Paul McCartney in a local Beatles cover band, John was taking a break from live playing and had been concentrating on writing and recording original music in his home studio while maintaining his “day job”. In July 1995 it became apparent to both that working together was an easy and enjoyable experience and the duo was born. Unfortunately, one month later John moved back to his original home, Seattle, Washington. This EP of original songs is a sampling of the recording Jeff and John collaborated on in the summer of ’95. Although they have remained long distance friends over the years, they have yet to find an opportunity to reunite and create some new sounds. Maybe someday?
