Biography
Jedi Knights is the neo-electro alias for Mark Pritchard and Tom Middleton, best known as Global Communication AKA Reload & E621, Secret Ingredients, Link & E621, and The Chameleon.
Jedi Knights first appeared on the Clear Label with their “May the Funk Be With You” EP and later releasing the “New School Science” LP on their own “Evolution/Universal Language” Records Label. They did remixes as Jedi Knights for Bomb the Bass (2 remixes of “Absorber”), Model 500 (“The Flow”), and a brilliant remix of “Antacid” by their Link & E621 alter ego. Upon remixing Depeche Mode’s “Home” under their Jedi Knights moniker, they came to the attention of George Lucas, who dropped a “cease and desist” on the duo for using the copywritten name for themselves, without “permission”. A few remixes were later done by them as Jedis for Underworld (2 mixes of “Jumbo”) and Leftfield (“Afrika Shox”).
