Jeannette Katt began in the working class suburbs of Southern California called the Inland Empire. She was plucked from her grandmother's garage and signed to Peer Music Los Angeles as a songwriter. After one of her demos ended up in the soundtrack "Fathers and Sons", a bidding war ensued and she signed with A&M records and released one album, "Pink Mischief".
