Jayateerth Mevundi (born 1972) is a Hindustani classical vocalist of the Kirana Gharana. Jayateerth Mevundi hails from Hubli in North Karnataka. He took to music at a very tender age under the guidance of his mother. He started his formal training in classical music from Sangeet Ratna Pt. Arjunsa Nakod and presently he is undergoing training from Pt. Shripati Padegar, a disciple of Pt Bhimsen Joshi.

* A scholarship for three years(1986-88)by Karnataka Sangeet Nritya Academy, Bangalore
* Second prize in AIR Hindustani Classical vocal competition during 1988-89 at Ahmedabad
* First prize in the competition organized by ITC Sangeet Research Academy, Calcutta
* Mrs. Yamunabai Shahane Shastreeya Gayana Shishyavrutti by Gaanavardhan in 1993, Pune
* Pt. Jasraj Gourav Puraskar in 1995

Jayateerth Mevundi was also awarded the “Young Maestro” award which was personally handed to him by President Abdul Kalam at the second year inauguration of the Indian Music Academy organized by Pt. Jasraj on 9 April 2007 in Delhi
