Welcome to the Jungle (2:54)

Cover of Watch the Throne

From Watch the Throne and 1 other release

Dope story… worst days ever.’99 I had just left my job at the Wiz on Broadway in Greenwich Village… I had back to back bs happening and thought to dip off Broadway and go dwn Houston then up to Mercer to freestyle. I needed to rhyme but I didn’t want anyone to see me. This guy drives by and sees me. Lol. Long short. It turnt out to be Mr West in the flesh… Lol. He asked me where I wanted to be when I’m 25? I told him hope-fully Alive. It was the day I lost my Dad and most my Uncles already died. Ironically i had already scarred both my eyes in a car accident the year before. #nyc

i like how Jay disses andre 3000 on the last track, and the very first rhyme kanye makes on this track is from an outkast song
