Biography

Jason Harrod was part of the duo Harrod and Funck during the 1990s, and after three collaborative albums, began making solo records around 2000.

Harrod’s solo albums, “Living in Skin” and “Bright as You” have been received to critical acclaim, and his song, “When I Get Home” was awarded first place in in the Bluegrass Category at MerleFest’s Chris Austin Songwriting Competition in 2000.

Jason Harrod crafts songs that reflect his love of Americana and folk music, yet are entirely his own sound. He writes of life, love, and spirituality deftly and intelligently.
