Jarboe (full name: Jarboe La Salle Devereaux - also known as The Living Jarboe) is an American singer, songwriter, and keyboardist. She came to prominence in the mid-1980s as a member of New York City based group Swans. With founder Michael Gira, the duo was the core of the group until its disbandment in 1998. She continues to release numerous solo albums and collaborations.

Anyone wondering if 'Early Demo's' 2CD thing from TLJ is worth it... it is! God knows why she didn't market this stuff before, and market it better! Lots of unheard tracks, and all, with the exception of one or two, are excellent, and some very nice versions of familiar tracks, like Dream Dream, Everything for Maria etc... Highly recommended!
